About The Community Mentor

I've been an Online Marketer for over 10 years, working mainly in social media and community management. I was inspired by the power of community during my job at Yelp - where I led all aspects of community as City Manager of my hometown, Frankfurt, Germany. I picked up a small and unloved community, nurtured it back to "health" and grew it to an enormous community of self-sustaining members. 

After this I led a number of social media and community roles for different companies, and consulted them with my expertise. 

I had the luck to work with some very interesting companies, ranging in a variety of fields. From a tech company working on clean code, to a health & lifestyle startup to a bike gadget startup that got acquired by a large corporate. 

As of 2022 I am Community Lead for Canva Creators in Germany and love working with a community of talented creators!
